Causes and Symptoms of the Fingernail Fungus

Once the nail fungus persists in the body then it can cause following symptoms in the body. Some of these symptoms can be prevented while some require the proper treatment.

- The tenderness in the nail can affect the routine activities of the person like the wearing of shoes and socks and walking or jogging. And if the nail fungus is in the hands of the person then it can create problems in activities like pressing and typing.

- Once the fingernail gets affected by the infection of fungus, then it will start deforming and will come out from its original shape. Some of the nails may get curved on one side while some of the nail will budge.

- If the fingernail infection is more acute then it can convert into called the powdery nail. In such situations the nail will become very much brittle and yellow powder will appear underneath the skin of the nail.

It doesn’t matter what may be the symptoms and cause of the nail fungus infection, treatment has to be done as early as possible. If the infection is untreated or untouched then it can cover some other near parts of the body also and then more body cells will become dead.
